In the sports industry since 1999, with long-term experience operating community venues in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area.

Established in 1999 as Kick Off Football, we began delivering community football programmes across Milton Keynes before evolving into Kick Off Sports in 2012. Today, we bring 27 years of experience delivering and operating high-quality sports facilities and programmes across Milton Keynes and beyond.

We are not a property company that happens to own some pitches, and we are not a club with a sideline. Operating community sports venues is the whole business.

How we got here

The job has not changed since 1999: take on a community facility and keep it busy.

1999
Where it started
Kick Off Football established in Milton Keynes, delivering community football programmes across the city.
2011
The Dallow Centre, Luton
We turned an unused ball court into a community 3G facility and ran it for more than ten years, handing it back to the centre in 2022.
2012
Kick Off Sports
The business evolved from Kick Off Football into Kick Off Sports as the work moved from running programmes to running venues.
Willen Lake
Long-term partnership
Regeneration and operation of the Willen Lake facility, held on a long-term lease from The Parks Trust and run at our own risk.
2024
Newport Pagnell
We operate the Football Foundation-funded Leah Williamson Pitch under contract for Newport Pagnell Town FC.

What we care about

A 3G pitch is only truly valuable when it is being used by the community it was built to serve.

That means giving junior clubs somewhere to call home, keeping adults playing into their 40s, 50s and beyond, creating opportunities for women and girls, supporting inclusive sport, and providing a place where local people can simply turn up and play.

But successful community use does not happen just because the gates are open.

It takes good management, strong relationships and consistent work, week after week and year after year, to build participation, look after the facility and keep it financially sustainable.

Much of that work happens quietly behind the scenes, but ultimately it is what determines whether a community sports facility succeeds for the long term.
